Under the semi-pastoral brief ‘Lyden af en høj’, I contributed PUBLIC ADDRESS, a text prompted by my interest in the public-warning sirens broadcast in Denmark each year on the first Wednesday in May. I started collecting recordings this year in May, but due to a hefty storm over large parts of the country on the day of the annual siren-test, the results were varied, so I decided to continue collecting recordings next year … you can listen to some samples here.
