Times of crisis cause every part of society to renegotiate fundamental values. A big part of every crisis is just finding the way through it. The arts play a decisive role in helping us to face up to seemingly impossible challenges. The arts help us to look the present moment in the eye, and ask ourselves - individually and collectively - who we are.
